About this tour
We walk along the rapids at Götaforsliden and share the story of the businesses that once operated by the falls and of Mölndal’s early history. Kvarnbyn is a living industrial environment where the power of water has shaped the site for over a thousand years. Flour and fulling mills stood side by side, and the mills by the falls powered Mölndal’s early industry as textiles, paper mills, and oil processing expanded.
